Selma Star, a Beneteau 36.7 skippered by Jun Avecilla, and Misty Mountain, a Mills 43 Custom helmed by George Hackett, clinched the 1st and 2nd Overall positions, respectively, at the BPI Boracay 200 Regatta. This event marked the third leg of the prestigious BPI Classic Signature Race Series.
Selma Star triumphed in the 210 nautical mile offshore race and maintained its lead in the inshore races, edging out Misty Mountain by a mere 1 point in the combined series to secure the overall title. Both yachts, hailing from the Subic Bay Yacht Club and Subic Sailing Club, outperformed competitors from Puerto Galera, Punta Fuego, and Manila Yacht Club, showcasing their sailing prowess in this highly competitive event.
