The 2nd Race from Punta Fuego Yacht Club in Nasugbu to Busuanga Bay Lodge has already attracted a good-sized entry fleet of keelboat and ocean multihulls. An added attraction has been the availability of berths on entered boats for the participants in the 18th Philippine Hobie Challenge which starts in Coron the day after the race.
The race is 120nm and boats can choose a 12 hour window in which to start. The aim is for all boats to reach the sandy South Kay Island in time for a barbecue at midday on Saturday. Results are calculated using actual elapsed times. In addition, there will be a power boat predicted log event.
